Police: Teen girl nabbed for 2007 slaying

(08/09/10) BROOKLYN - Police arrested an 18-year-old girl who is accused in the brutal stabbing of an Egyptian immigrant in Brooklyn three years ago.

Alma McCants is suspected of killing 52-year-old Madgy Okley in July 2007. The victim was found stabbed multiple times and duct-taped to his chair in his Fort Hamilton home.

Police say McCants was caught after police busted a prostitution ring. She was arrested in the bust and confessed to the 3-year-old murder during her interrogation.

McCants is charged with second-degree murder, robbery and possession of a weapon.

She is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
