Police: Teen shot in foot in East New York

EAST NEW YORK - Police are asking for the public's help to find a man who shot a teen.

Police say the victim was walking along New Lots Avenue toward Pennsylvania Avenue on Friday when he heard two gunshots. When the victim ran, he realized that he had been shot in the foot, according to police.

The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital and is in stable condition. 

The suspected gunman was last seen wearing a red do-rag, white tank top and black shorts.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
