BROOKLYN - Police say a toddler was shot in the leg during a home invasion in Brownsville last night.

According to cops, the 4-year-old was struck after two armed men entered a home on Van Sinderen Avenue in an attempted robbery at around 9 p.m. They say no other injuries were reported.

Officials say the child was rushed to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition and is expected to be OK.

Police say they are continuing to investigate.
