BROOKLYN - Authorities need help identifying a woman who was found dead in Gravesend. 

Investigators released a picture of a tattoo on her right leg, along with a rendering of what the tattoo may have originally looked like. They believe the name written on it is "Monique." 

The woman's body was discovered near Shore Parkway and 26th Avenue. She is believed to be anywhere between 25 and 45 years old. 

The medical examiner has not yet determined the cause of death.
