Police: Two officers injured in crash

Officials say that two police officers were rushed to the hospital Wednesday after a crash in Sheepshead Bay.

BROOKLYN - Officials say that two police officers were rushed to the hospital Wednesday after a crash in Sheepshead Bay.

An NYPD cruiser and tan-colored van collided around 9 a.m. Wednesday. The incident happened at the intersection of Emmons Avenue and East 15th Street. 

The driver of the van said the police car pulled out in front of him suddenly.  

Both officers were taken to Lutheran Medical Center with minor injuries, and are expected to be OK.
