BROOKLYN - Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who shot a 20-year-old man in Prospect Lefferts Gardens earlier this month.

Authorities say the victim was trying to break up a fight on Clarkson Avenue when he was shot in the leg.

The suspect is described as a black male between 18 and 22 years old. He's around 150 pounds and about 5 feet 10 inches tall.

Police are urging anyone with information about the incident or suspect to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
