BROOKLYN - A 27-year-old woman who was kidnapped and sexually assaulted broke free after her two alleged kidnappers drove her to a bank and forced her to withdraw money.

Police say a woman was abducted by two men at gunpoint Sunday morning. She was then told to take out money from an ATM at TD Bank on Avenue J.

Authorities say the suspects stayed in the car while the woman went inside. She then alarmed bank security that she was being robbed.

The suspects tried to flee from police but were caught, authorities say.

Tyquan Sewell, 20, and Andre Scantlebury, 20, were charged with rape, criminal sex act, robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful imprisonment.

Officials say the woman filed an identical report last month. They say their investigation is ongoing.
