Police: Woman robbed of 10,000 euros in lotto scheme

BROOKLYN - A man and a woman are wanted for allegedly using a lottery scheme to steal 10,000 euros.

According to police, a 65-year-old woman was targeted in the latest incident, which marks the third time a winning lotto ticket was used to rob someone in Brooklyn this summer.

The male suspect is described as being of Hispanic decent and about 50 years old. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
