BROWNSVILLE - Some Brownsville residents living on Hull Street are getting re-acclimated with having power after it shut off around 1 a.m. this morning.

Con-Ed officials say that a power cable got burned as result of salt being sprinkled on the roads. Three teams of workers were dispatched for 16-hour shifts to help restore power as early as this morning.

Officials say the power has been restored for most homes this afternoon.
