BROOKLYN - The Spring Creek Towers in East New York went dark again during a brief power outage. 

Electricity has since been restored to all 46 high-rise buildings that make up the Pennsylvania Avenue housing complex. The blackout was reported just before 9 a.m. Monday. 

Firefighters spent the morning going building to building to ensure that everyone was safe following reports that there were people stuck in elevators. Fortunately, no one was injured. 

There is no word yet on what caused the outage.
