Prospect Park beckons to BK kids cooped up in the cold

PROSPECT PARK - While winter drives many Brooklyn children indoors, Prospect Park officials say they have plenty going on to keep kids busy.

The Kate Wollman Ice Rink, Lefferts Historic House and the Audubon Center are up and running. The Prospect Park Zoo, where children can learn firsthand about wildlife, will soon reopen.

Children and adults can both look forward to a New Year?s Eve fireworks display.
