Protesters gather in DUMBO against stop-and-frisk program

BROOKLYN - Young people gathered in Downtown Brooklyn today to call for action against the NYPD's stop-and-frisk program. The protesters say the program is discriminatory and ineffective.

Police Commissioner Ray Kelly says the stop-and-frisk program saves lives and gets guns off the streets. Last week, Kelly announced changes to the program, including new training for officers.

Protesters are trying to rally people for a silent march on Father's Day.
