Protesters rally outside Borough Hall to stop closure of Interfaith Medical Center

The Bedford-Stuyvesant hospital has been on the chopping block for months and officials will be heading to bankruptcy court on Monday to finalize details of the hospital's closure plan. (11/1/13)

BROOKLYN - Community members gathered outside of Borough Hall today in an effort to save Interfaith Medical Center.

The Bedford-Stuyvesant hospital has been on the chopping block for months and officials will be heading to bankruptcy court on Monday to finalize details of the hospital's closure plan.

Community members say that Interfaith is vital to the area.

The bankruptcy proceedings will be held at 9 a.m. at Cadman Plaza.
