BROOKLYN - The Public Advocate's Office released today a list of the worst New York City Housing Authority developments.

It calls Van Dyke the worst in Brooklyn, with more than 5,700 repairs needed. Pink on Loring Avenue had the second most-needed repairs, followed by Red Hook west. The Farragut Houses and Cypress Hills Houses rounded out the top five.

"Our public housing got this bad, in part, because there is zero accountability," said Public Advocate Bill de Blasio. "Tenants deserve to know that their ceilings will actually get patched or that mold will actually be removed. We're going to use the watch list to hold NYCHA's feet to the fire."
