NEW YORK - Democrat Bill de Blasio is maintaining a commanding lead over Republican Joe Lhota in the race to replace Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

According to the latest Quinnipiac University poll, de Blasio has 68 percent of voter support, compared to Lhota's 24 percent.

The numbers are down slightly from the 50-point spread de Blasio had in a previous Quinnipiac poll earlier this month.

Of the likely voters surveyed, 5 percent remain undecided, and 8 percent say there's a good chance they could change their minds before the Nov. 5 election.
