PARK SLOPE - Brooklyn residents awoke today to rainy weather.

In Park Slope, residents were hoping the rain would stop and hold off long enough so a street festival on 5th Avenue would go on as planned.

Authorities also advise drivers to use extra caution because of the slippery roads.
