BROOKLYN - Rain and wind hit the borough on and off Thursday.

Clouds moving above Canarise Pier earlier in the day eventually brought heavy downpours in the afternoon.

The sun made a brief appearance between showers, but conditions cleared up for the evening commute.

This week has brought varying weather, with cold temperatures returning up until Thursday, when conditions felt more spring-like in the 50s and 60s.

Friday will be cloudy early on, but the sun will begin to peek through by the afternoon, according to meteorologists.
