Rally held at J.J. Byrne Park against term limits bill

PARK SLOPE - Local leaders gathered at J.J. Byrne Park in Park Slope Monday to rally against a bill to extend term limits.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg is looking to run for a third term. The bill would allow the city council to extend term limits. However, those opposed to the bill say voters should have a say in the matter.

Protestors are urging residents to speak out about the bill at two public hearings this week.
