Rash of sex attacks prompts resident rally

BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn-based group will be holding a "take back the night" rally tonight after the recent rash of sexual attacks in the borough.

Police say eight attacks are confirmed and possibly three more are related to the rape suspect.

The 72nd Precinct met with residents concerned about the attacks that have occurred in the Greenwood, Sunset Park and Park Slope areas since March. The latest attack happened just last week.

The rally will be held from 8 to 10:30 p.m. at the Prospect Avenue R subway station at 4th Avenue and 17th Street.
