BROOKLYN - A special yoga class is bringing the heat during the cold weather.

Bikram yoga is done in a studio that's been heated to 105 degrees. Jane Kartsch, who owns a bikram yoga studio, says it's very healing and can be done by anyone, no matter how old or out of shape they are.

Some of her students say it's relaxing and not only is it a good weight loss method, but it helps with recovering from injuries.

Instructor Dionne Presinal says the extreme heat relaxes muscles and increases circulation. Participants can burn between 600 and 1,100 calories per session.
