BROOKLYN - Salsa dancing for fitness may be a good way to burn off extra pounds before the summer.

Wil Nieves, the director of Nieves Latin Dance Studio in Williamsburg, says salsa is a great workout.

"It's rhythmical, and just the music kind of moves you, so it's a really huge motivational booster to just to start exercising," he says.

The classes at the studio range from beginners to professionals and run $45 a month.
