BROOKLYN - It's November, but Brooklyn residents would have been forgiven for thinking it was spring on Friday as record-breaking temperatures hit the area.

Today's high was expected to be about 73 degrees, setting a record for the day.

Temperatures for the beginning of November are typically in the 50s.
