NEW YORK - The Red Cross says that it still has millions of dollars in unused funds for Superstorm Sandy recovery.

The relief organization raised $303 million since the storm slammed the region in October, and roughly $110 million of that money has not yet been used to help victims.

Officials say that they expect to spend as much as $27 million of the remaining donations over the next few months on move-in assistance grants for displaced families.

Part of the delay is that the Red Cross is waiting to see how the hardest hit states will allocate a $60 billion federal aid package.
