BROOKLYN - The Red Hook community is mourning the loss of a beloved local bartender.

Chris Piscitelli, also known as Pish, recently lost a battle with brain cancer. He was a staple in the neighborhood, working at favorite watering holes like Sunny's Bar and Red Hook Bait and Tackle.

A memorial and fundraiser was held at Hometown Bar-B-Que Monday night. Other local bars donated food and drinks for the event, which they called Pishfest.

A raffle and donations also helped raise funds for the 35-year-old's family.
