BROOKLYN - Red Hook residents had to dig out after a winter snowstorm hit the borough.

Many residents stocked up on food at the Red Hook Supermarket on Friday.

The overnight snowstorm dumped several inches of snow across the city.

Plows and salt spreaders tackled roads Friday throughout the borough, but many remain slippery and snow-covered.
