Religious leaders, protesters gather in BK to march to Wall Street

BROOKLYN - Numerous religious leaders and protesters gathered in Downtown Brooklyn to march to Zuccotti Park in Manhattan today.

The march was led by Rev. Herbert Daughtry, who led a similar march to Wall Street 33 years ago.

"I would love to see this mayor rehire some of the people he has laid off," said one man who declined to be identified. "And I would love to see some of these teacher's aides reinstated."

The marchers say they hope to increase public awareness about economic inequality in the country.
