Report: 9 million New Yorkers are employed

BROOKLYN - According to New York state Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli, more New Yorkers are employed now than ever before.

A new report shows that 9 million New Yorkers were employed last year, breaking a statewide record. The report also found that 143,000 jobs were added in 2014.

DiNapoli says wages all around are up 14 percent since 2009.
