BROOKLYN - Brooklyn led the city with the most stop-and-frisk encounters in 2011, according to a new NYPD report.

According to the latest data, the most stops occurred in the 75th Precinct, which includes East New York and Cypress Hills. The 73rd Precinct, which covers Brownsville, had the second highest number.

There were nearly 700,000 stops citywide for that year, which amounts to fewer than one a week by each police officer in the force.
