Report: Brooklyn's air quality slightly better

CLINTON HILL - According to the American Lung Association, the air quality in Brooklyn has gotten slightly better than last year.

The report shows that the New York Metropolitan area experienced a similar trend, although The Bronx and Manhattan still received ?F? grades for their air quality.

Doctors say the more pollutants in the air, the greater the risk for asthma and other respiratory illnesses.

New York City ranked 17 out of cities most polluted by the ozone.
