Report: Gas prices on the rise

BROOKLYN - The price of gas in Brooklyn is on the rise.

According to a new survey, the average cost of a gallon of regular gas has gone up five cents in the last two weeks.

AAA lists the current average cost of gas in New York at $3.82. Last month, it was $3.74.

In Brooklyn, gas is actually cheaper than the state average. One consumer-driven website lists gas as just $3.58 at Grand Slam Wash and Gas on South Conduit Boulevard.
