PROSPECT HEIGHTS - Residents are complaining that a junkyard owner has been leaving big-rig trucks and trailers parked on the street, making conditions difficult for everyone.

The junkyard is located on Pacific Street between Grand and Classon avenues.

Neighbors say the owner has been leaving the junkyard's commercial vehicles parked on the street for long periods of time, which is prohibited by the Department of Transportation.

Not only are parking spaces limited because of this, other residents say trash is piling up because street-sweeping trucks are unable to get through, and bicyclists have limited visibility when it comes to seeing cars drive down the street.
