Residents in Borough Park fed up with MTA construction

Borough Park residents say they're frustrated with the MTA after a rehabilitation construction project has become an eyesore.Shop owners along the strip say construction workers

BOROUGH PARK - Borough Park residents say they're frustrated with the MTA after a rehabilitation construction project has become an eyesore.

Shop owners along the strip say construction workers dug trenches around September of last year and little has been done to maintain them.  They say garbage is now filling the trenches.

The MTA is currently working on the construction site, but residents say they are ignoring the garbage-filled trenches.

The owners and residents say the makeshift garbage bins are frustrating and bad for business.
