Residents of Pink Houses on edge after robberies

(08/27/10) BROOKLYN - Residents of Brooklyn's Pink Houses are on edge after a string of robberies.

Residents say they are concerned broken locks and lights are making it easier for the thieves. At 1239 Stanley Ave., where residents say several of the robberies happened, all of the locks and lights in working order. However, residents insist it was not the case a few days ago.

Across the street at 1237 Stanley Ave., News 12 Brooklyn?s crew was able to open the front door.

Officials say police presence has been increased in the area.
