BROOKLYN - Coney Island was packed with people Saturday as residents took advantage of the warm temperatures.

With temperatures reaching the high 60s, many went without their winter coats, something unusual for mid-December.

People out walking and jogging told News 12 they aren’t complaining about having to leave their winter gear at home.

Temperatures will cool down only slightly in the next few days, with highs of 58 degrees expected through Wednesday.
