BROOKLYN - Residents prepared Sunday for the latest winter storm stocking up at local hardware stores.

Park Slope Hardware was busy throughout Saturday and Sunday with people buying salt, pellets, shovels and sleds.

In anticipation of the snow, the city has suspended alternate side parking rules for Monday.
