BROOKLYN - A number of residents in Brooklyn took advantage of Tuesday's summer-like weather by heading to the Canarsie Pier.

Plenty of people donned shorts and T-shirts at the waterfront to enjoy the sunshine with a cooling breeze. Others were seen fishing and biking.

Early clouds Tuesday gave way to hazy and humid weather and temperatures in the upper 80s.

Dry and sunny weather with low humidity is expected to begin Wednesday and last through Friday. Wednesday will see highs in the upper 60s.
