CLINTON HILL - Many Barack Obama supporters expressed their elation Wednesday at the election of their candidate a day earlier.

One group of supporters toasted President-elect Obama with mimosas before starting their work day at Clinton Hill Sisters Community Hardware Store. All but one employee there was dedicated to Obama throughout the election.

?I feel numb,? one worker says. ?I?m amazed. I?m wound up. I just feel great.?

The employees say they never thought they would see a black man elected president in their lifetimes. They hope Obama?s success will inspire young Brooklyn men.
