BAY RDIGE - Brooklyn residents ventured out to the second annual Summer Stroll despite today’s extreme heat.

The annual event was held on Third Avenue stretching between 80th and 90th streets.

News 12 ran into a group of children who had spent their Thursday evening squeezing 120 lemons into 10 gallons of fresh lemonade for today’s event.

One of the children says the profits will be donated to a local food pantry.
