BROOKLYN - The NYPD is offering a $12,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of a man accused of trying to rape a woman last week.

Last Sunday, police say a man entered the victim's home on Metropolitan Avenue, climbed on top of the 21-year-old woman while she was sleeping and tried to rape her. A struggle followed and the suspect escaped through a window.

Police say the suspect is Hispanic and is between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall.
