BROOKLYN - Subway riders in Brooklyn say broken down elevators and escalators at many stations are making their commute more difficult.At the Myrtle Avenue station in Bushwick, the elevator leading to the uptown-bound M trains is expected to remain out of service until the end of the month, forcing commuters to lug strollers and heavy bags up the stairs.The Metropolitan Transportation Authority says elevator and escalator availability improved slightly from last quarter.
