BAY RIDGE - Dozens of runners took part in the Run for the Fallen this morning at Fort Hamilton Army Base in Bay Ridge.

Participants in the 4.7-mile race say they run in memory of fellow officers, relatives and friends.

The race has become a tradition at the base since it was first held in 2008.
