Sabian Brooks charged in Canarsie crash that killed Nikon Zouyiouklis on Remsen Avenue

BROOKLYN - A 25-year-old driver is being charged in connection with a deadly crash in Canarsie Tuesday. 

According to police, Sabian Brooks faces a slew of charges, including manslaughter and driving while intoxicated. 

They say Brooks collided with another car and a telephone pole on Remson Avenue, killing 60-year-old Nikon Zouyiouklis, of Long Island. He also caused damage to two parked cars.

Zouyiouklis needed to be extricated from the backseat of the vehicle he was in, and was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital.
