Sandy grants comes through in Coney Island

A round of grants has come through for 11 non-profit and faith-based organizations in Coney Island. The group #ConeyRecovers distributed its first round of funding

BROOKLYN - A round of grants has come through for 11 non-profit and faith-based organizations in Coney Island.

The group #ConeyRecovers distributed its first round of funding this week to help in the storm recovery efforts. Beneficiaries received anywhere from $500 to $2,500.

Some of the organizations that received aid include the Coney Island Gospel Assembly, Friends of Keiser Park and Coney Island USA.
