BROOKLYN - Residents may have spotted Santa jogging over the Brooklyn Bridge Wednesday.

Fred Trilli, 67, started the annual tradition of dressing up as Santa and greeting people 16 years ago.

He says he does the jog to bring happiness and joy to those around him.

While Trilli usually does the jog by himself, he had a cadre of elves following him Wednesday after his neighbors offered to accompany him to spread holiday cheer.
