EAST FLATBUSH - A school bus crashed into several cars in East Flatbush Monday afternoon, sending at least four people to the hospital.

Witnesses told News 12 the bus hit several parked cars on Farragut Road at around 5 p.m. They say the bus then plowed into a Honda Accord at a red light on Schenectady Avenue, pushing it for two blocks.

A young girl told News 12 that she and another girl were the only ones on the bus. They were shaken up by the incident, but expected to be OK. The bus driver was among those taken to the hospital.

Crews towed the bus away Monday evening. It is not yet known how the driver lost control.
