School bus drivers' union to meet as possible strike looms

BROOKLYN - The union representing yellow school bus drivers is expected to meet tonight as the specter of a possible strike looms over parents, schoolchildren and the schools.

The drivers are threatening to walk off the job if seniority rights aren't guaranteed in their new contract.

If a strike were to happen, about 150,000 students would be without transportation and would instead have to rely on city-issued MetroCards to get to and from school.
