BROOKLYN - A school bus was involved in a car accident that sent several people to the hospital in Brooklyn.

According to witnesses, the bus driver was heading down East 5th Street onto Avenue C when the driver of a white vehicle made an illegal U-turn and collided with the bus.

A young boy on the bus was taken to the hospital as a precaution. Everyone in the other car was also taken to the hospital, but it's unclear how badly they were hurt.

Officials say the school bus driver had a green light and is not at fault.
