Sculptors prepare for public space exhibit at Serett Metalworks on the Gowanus Canal

BROOKLYN - World-class international sculptors have gathered at Serett Metalworks on the Gowanus Canal in preparation for a unique art exhibit.

Seven artists, handpicked by the Art Students League of New York, will have their work displayed for the Model to Monument public sculpture program.

The program is a partnership with New York City Parks and trains artists to create work for public spaces.

The artists’ sculptures will be placed in Riverside Park in Manhattan for one year beginning June 12.
