BROOKLYN - A 36-year-old man is dead after police say he was shot execution-style inside a NYCHA building in Canarsie. 

According to investigators, Sean Michael Williams was found with a gunshot wound to his head at around 9:30 p.m. Monday on the third floor of the Breukelen Houses, the same floor where he lived. Neighbors say he had recently moved in. 

The shooting comes on the heels of the launch of the NYPD's "Summer All Out" initiative, which is aimed at reducing gun violence citywide. 

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
