BROOKLYN - More than 100 police officers searched a weed-filled area along the Brooklyn-Queens border for a missing 7-year?old, police said Wednesday.

Patrick Alford has been missing since Jan. 22, when he vanished from his foster family?s East New York home. Detectives say they tracked him near the area where they're searching.

Police say the warmer weather will finally allow them to undertake the massive search.
